Rango Safaris – Customer Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Rango Safaris, a premier tour operator based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. By booking a tour or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Booking & Reservations
- All bookings require a deposit (percentage or amount specified at booking) to secure your reservation.
- Full payment must be completed before the tour start date, unless otherwise agreed.
- Bookings are subject to availability.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellation by Customer:
- More than 30 days before departure: Full refund (minus any non-refundable fees).
- 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Less than 14 days before departure: No refund.
- Cancellation by Rango Safaris:
- We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., safety concerns, natural disasters). In such cases, a full refund or alternative dates will be offered.
3. Travel Insurance
- We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost belongings.
- Rango Safaris is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during the tour.
4. Health & Safety
- Clients must inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements before booking.
- We follow safety guidelines, but clients participate in activities at their own risk.
5. Changes to Itinerary
- While we strive to adhere to the planned itinerary, unforeseen circumstances (weather, road conditions, etc.) may require adjustments.
- No refunds will be issued for minor changes, but we will provide suitable alternatives.
6. Liability & Responsibility
- Rango Safaris acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (hotels, transport, etc.).
- We are not responsible for delays, accidents, or losses caused by third-party providers.
7. Passports, Visas & Travel Documents
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport, visa, and required vaccinations before travel.
- We do not provide visa assistance unless specified in the tour package.
8. Privacy Policy
- Personal information provided during booking will only be used for tour arrangements and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
9. Complaints & Disputes
- Any complaints must be reported immediately to our guide or office for resolution.
- Unresolved disputes will be handled under Tanzanian law.
10. Acceptance of Terms
- By booking with Rango Safaris, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
